Invited by Prof. Junhu Wang, Prof. Károly Lázár (Centre of Energy Research, Hungarian Academy of Sciences) as a visiting scientist visited MEDC from 30 March to 26 April, 2018 to develop joint projects “Study of Bimetallic Gold Catalysts (Au-Ag and Au-Cu) on Phosphate Support” and “Preparation and Characterization of Highly Efficient and Stable Supported Gold Catalysts and their Applications in Energy and Environmental Protection”. The two joint projects are financially supported by Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) President's International Fellowship Initiative (PIFI) for 2017 and Chinese-Hungarian bilateral project [grant number NKFIH TET_15-1-2016-0120], respectively. During his stay, he also gave a lesson entitled as “Application of Mössbauer spectroscopy for the Characterization of Catalytic Materials” towards the graduated students and younger staff of Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics (DICP) in CAS for one week.
